He is also a board member and senior advisor at the Financial Modeling Institute. Dr. Temte earned his doctorate in finance from the University of Iowa with a concentration in international finance and investment theory. He holds the CFA designation and has over 14 years of university teaching experience in the areas of corporate finance, investments, and international finance.

An accomplished musician and leader of the rock band, The Remainders, he is active in numerous fundraising events and committees in the La Crosse, WI, community.
