Don't be an asshole. Be a decent human. Most of us can spot an asshole move when we see one — the hard part is catching our own. The floor keeps you from doing harm. It's a low bar on purpose. That's what makes it a bar everyone can hold.
THE ASPIRATION
Grace — assume good intent, and pause before you react. Dignity — worth applied inward and outward, to yourself as much as to anyone else. Compassion — empathy with action behind it.
The floor keeps you from doing harm. The aspiration helps you do good. Both are necessary, and both can be learned.
